The materials
Every material has a personality.
Metals pick up wear. Stones refuse to repeat themselves. As you wear them, each piece becomes yours—not an exact copy.
Sterling silver
Better over time.
Sterling silver will pick up small marks over time that adds character. It may tarnish faster around salt air, humidity, cosmetics, chlorine, and sulfur. A silver polishing cloth brings the shine back when you want it.
Solid brass
Patina is normal.
Brass darkens as it meets air, water, and skin. Leave the patina alone or brighten the surface with a brass polishing cloth. Either way is correct.
Turquoise & stone
Stone refuses to repeat itself.
Every stone brings its own color, pattern, surface, and character to the piece. That variation is part of the appeal, and each stone is selected by hand for the design, the setting, and the feeling of the finished piece.
How it is made
One at a time.
Pieces are carved in wax, cast, or fabricated out of sheet and wire, then filed, sanded, stones set, and finished by hand. Small variations are evidence of the hand made process and make each piece unique.
