Brethren / the short version

One person.
A lot of metal.

Brethren is a small jewelry shop making rings, pendants, and accessories with honest materials, timeless style, and everyday wearability. Every piece passes through the same two hands from bench to finish. The work is shaped by old cars, vintage choppers, making things by hand, and the belief that good things should be made to last, repaired when they need it, and worn for life.

How it works

Made slowly.
Made to last.

Pieces start at the bench and stay there until they look, feel, and wear the way they should. Carving, casting, fabrication, stone setting, polishing, problem solving, and the occasional quiet threat directed at a very small object, all happens in one place. No factories, no shortcuts.

The operating principle

Not too precious.
Not too rugged.

Jewelry should look good, feel good, and be built well enough to wear daily. Brethren pieces are solid, never hollowed out, and never plated. Scratches, patina, softened edges, and imperfect stones are not flaws to hide. They are evidence of good times, a good life, and a piece that has been properly worn.
